The Municipality of Tiwi will celebrate its 250th Township Anniversary in 2026, with the theme: โ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฌ ๐ฌ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐ง๐ถ๐๐ถ: ๐๐ฒ๐น๐ฒ๐ฏ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐๐ฒ๐ด๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฒ๐ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐ฎ๐ด๐ฒ, ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฑ๐ฒ, ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ด๐ฟ๐ฒ๐๐โ. This is a historical milestone, marking two and a half centuries of culture, resilience, and progress. To commemorate this significant moment, a visual symbol is needed โ one that captures our rich heritage and aspirations. This Logo Making Contest, through the Municipal Tourism Culture and Arts Office (MTCAO), aims to create an enduring symbol while actively engaging our community and showcasing the exceptional talents of Tiwinhons. This logo will serve as the official emblem of our year-long celebration, unifying all events and materials under a single, powerful identity.

- The Logo Making Contest is open to ALL BONAFIDE TIWINHONS ONLY.
- No age limit. Minors must submit a scanned copy of a signed parental consent form (to be provided by the MTCAO) along with their entry.
๐. ๐๐๐ง๐๐ซ๐๐ฅ ๐๐ฎ๐ข๐๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐๐ฌ - The logo submitted can be a work of an individual or a group.
- All submissions must be the original creation of the entrant(s). Designs must not include, be based on, or derived from any pre-existing designs, trademarks, or copyrighted images. Any duplication or plagiarism will mean disqualification of the contestant.
- Entries that were created using Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications or software such as ChatGPT, Midjourney, Canvas, DreamStudio, NightCafe, Jasper Art, Artbreeder, StarryAI, Motor, Runway, Picsart, Pixray, DeepAI, and other similar programs shall be disqualified.
- Entries that underwent a manual process in hand drawing, traditional painting, or printmaking that were migrated or scanned into digital format is not allowed.
- An entry submission into this contest constitutes permission to use the winnerโs name and information provided on the entry for publicity purposes, without further permission or compensation.
- The Local Government Unit of Tiwi, thru the Municipal Tourism Culture and Arts Office, reserves the right to request for minor modifications from the winning designer(s) to ensure usability across all media. The designer will be consulted during this process.
- A maximum of one (1) entry is required per individual contestant or group contestant.

- The logo may use any shape โ circular, square, triangular, rectangular, or abstract designs.
- The logo design must integrally incorporate the following required elements:
3.A. Text: The explicit display of โ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฌ ๐๐๐๐ง๐จโ.
3.B. Unique Identifiers: Icons that distinctly communicates the three (3) official brandings of Tiwi โ (1) ๐๐๐ก๐๐ง๐๐ข๐๐๐ ๐๐ค๐ฌ๐ฃ ๐ค๐ ๐ผ๐ก๐๐๐ฎ; (2) ๐พ๐๐ง๐๐ข๐๐๐จ ๐๐๐๐ง๐ฉ ๐ค๐ ๐ผ๐ก๐๐๐ฎ; and (3) ๐๐๐ค๐ฉ๐๐๐ง๐ข๐๐ก ๐ฝ๐๐ง๐ฉ๐๐ฅ๐ก๐๐๐ ๐ค๐ ๐ผ๐จ๐๐; - The logoโs color scheme must incorporate a minimum of four (4) colors and must not exceed a maximum of seven (7) colors.
- The logoโs resolution must be at least 300 dpi.
- The logo must be adaptable for use on both print and electronic media.
- The output must be free from any watermarks, electronic signature, initials, or name of the participant.
- The raw file of the logo should be illustrated in A4 size using Adobe Photoshop/ Illustrator or any digital design tools.
- The three (3) final winning designs must be submitted in a scalable vector format. For initial submission, also provide:
a) JPEG: One (1) design on a black background and one (1) design on a white background
b) PNG: One (1) design with a transparent background
c) EPS format - The winning participants are required to submit a soft copy of the original editable/open file of the logo design.
- A brief description of the design of not more than 500 words should accompany the design on a separate attachment. The description should elaborate the meaning or use of different design elements detailing the artworks/logo.
๐. ๐๐ง๐ญ๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐๐๐ญ๐ฎ๐๐ฅ ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐ญ๐ฒ - Every Contestant affirms that his/her submission is his/her own original work, has not been copied from others or from previous designs, including his/her own, and does not violate the intellectual property rights of any other person or entity.
- The copyright and full ownership of the winning logo shall be transferred to the LGU Tiwi. By joining the contest, the winning Artist/Creator agrees to assign all rights to the LGU Tiwi, including the right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and display the logo in any format or medium, without need of further permission or compensation.
